The Chairman of  the Regional Council of Lezha
Bardh Dode Rica, born in Bushkash in the region of Mat,

May the 1st 1955.
Graduated by the Agricultural University of Tirana in the Silvi-Culture Faculty as a Silvi-Culture engineer in 1980.

He has worked for several years as a silvi-culture engineer in the Forestry and Pasturage Enterprise in Burrel and Tirana. He has been

the Director of the Communal Enterprise of Lac.During the democratic Movemement of the 90's he was heavily involved in governmental and political activities; his conspicuous  contributions promoted democratic change.  He also helped to speed the development and consolidation of a democratic system in Albania.

From 1992-1996 He was the chairman of Kurbin's District Board.In 1997 he was elected as the chairman of the Kurbin District's branchof the Democratic Party; A duty that he fulfilled for two consecutively mandates, until October 2000. In the same year, during

the local elections he was elected to be the Chairman of  Lac Municipality, as a representative of the Democratic Party. In January 2004 and further he has the task of the Council's Chairman of  Lezha Region.( He is currently serving his second mandate in this position).He is a Member of the National Board of the Albanian Democratic Party.
