The municipality of Laç, has the largest number of inhabitants, approximately 29941 inhabitants, followed by the municipality of Lezha with 26458.

The smallest municipality is the municipality of Rubik with 8073 inhabitants.

The commune of Shenkoll has the largest number of inhabitants with 14169 inhabitants followed by the commune of Milot with 12876 inhabitants.

The commune with the lowest population is the commune of Selita with 2146 inhabitants followed by the commune of Kaçinar with 2168 inhabitants.
