The municipality of Laç has the largest number of population in the region. 

The center of the municipality is the town of Laçit. For a long time has been called the industrial town, where are situated two factories, which are not functioning anymore.

The ancient name was SEBASTE, and is well known for the church of St. Anton, where thousand of pilgrims visit it every year.
